while playing fallout three i realized beer, whiskey, vodka, never go bad they will be safer than water thoughts?

They might be. The only problem with that is that water is going to have to be used in the long run. If worse comes to worse you could always just boil it and kill everything in it.

thats true, but its no substitute for water. and you cant give whiskey to a child, its not healthy for small kids espeically, not everyones bodies can handle it, we're going to need a clean source of water in the future...boiling is primitive but effective.

i dont think boiling kills chemicals and such so you might die of poison anyway

well you cant kill chemicals because they aren't alive...but thats getting away from the central issue. if the water were from a stream, no harmful chemicals if you treat the water. if you go try that in some industrial city, or river where theres a factory waste-drain, then yeah, chemicals would be an issue. but i dont think anybody is stupid enough to drink water in front of a factory...

You seem to have overlooked the the fact that drinking beer and whiskey instead of water will result in swift zombification for all concerned or terminal accidental shot gun wounds due to drunken idiocy.

use a small bit of alchol to purify the water....if you drink too much
you will get woozy if you consume too much but at the right amounts it will not affect you adversly.

lol, why do you think pirates drank rum? it was in ready supply it never spoils. actually in moderation alchohol would be a good thing to have. lol

I think its a pretty stupid idea,
Like... you can get drunk,
And get eaten alive by zombies
Which wouldnt be the best.
So may aswell bring lots of water.
