What would you do to get food for the time and for a long period of living?

Seriously this could be difficult. Mountain House sells cases of freeze dried food that will last unopened for thirty years, and in largest bulk cost 6000 USD for about 2 and a half years of food for one person assuming 1 serving three times per day. In the event of Unkl Zeds Grand Apocalypse I don't see that being very usefull as most people wont be able to hold their home with water for that period of time. So in the event of Zombie invasion since I dont have BOL with years and years of stored grains and other staples and I live in the city, I think subsiting on what I have in the house (about a months worth) for as long as I'm able to hide from the zombies or untill it runs out, and then having a weeks worth of camping food freeze dried (should be easy enough to walk with that amount) In my bugout bag along with a survival book on edible plants so i can suplement my diet with foraging and traping. After that the posiblities and what ifs get so huge to an extent I'll have to play it by ear. go to the warehouse wholesale store? sequester myself in the woods? try to hook up with whatever remains of the gov/other survivors? others i havent mentioned? each option has pluses minuses and huge contingincy problems as it regards to food and other issues.

I would scavenge local stores with a group. Trap and grow.

That takes a certain amount of land to grow food and I think holding land against zombie hords isnt gonna work well.
As for scavanging local stores good luck, you'll probably have more success in your neighbors house. As soon as our just in time economy shuts down from lack of workers and to prevent the spread, the stores will be empty in 72 hours. Not to mention dealing with everyone who is doing the same thing and willing to kill you for your can of hormel chili and the industrial sized pickeled eggs left on the shelf.
I like the Idea of traping though, set yer traps that night, collect them and breakfast in the morning hopefully and move the heck on.

I have 7 acers and theres a steel sheeted warehouse one it. Zombies wont attack my corn so I can plant it outside and set traps around my garden to prevent animals from eatting it and Ill get to eat them.

The trapping part though will take a lot longer than 1 night, it will take probably 2 or maybe even 3 nights depending on where you put your traps. Most people think, oh ill trap a rabbit ill put out some bait tied to a tree and put my trap where his head will be. The thing is, all animals are suspicious of free food. And I've seen it happen more than once. The animal wont take the bait or the bait is gone because of the animal came a different way than he expected. So the real way to catch one is put it on the game trails that it travels. ESPECIALLY if its a rabbit. Rabbits always go flying though there trails. Because they feel secure on that trail. So if you put a snare at head level and check it every day than you have a chance at instant dinner. But don't rely on just one trap. Always have about 6 on different trails.

thanks. the most I know about trapping is that I have a book that tells me how to set them.

im not too sure about the long term plans, cause who knows how long any of us could survive for.
but for the here and now. i know that the $1 store, yes the dollar store, here in canada sells a lot of canned and packaged food that stays eatable for a while. i dont think i could live on "add water chicken soup" forever, but its a possibility. IMP or military food packs stay good for about 7 years. so they are also good and if used properly 1 pack can last for the entire day. they are great cause they have all the stuff you need to be running for your life.
trapping is also good, as long as the Z dont eat all the animals.

you know im almost wishing for a small outbreak so that we could get some certain ansers on some of our questions

I mean get food once it happens not in prep. but if a small outbreak happened most likely it wont end all that small if it ends at all.
